Interactive Typeface

This project involves the development of an interactive alphabet set using modular components, with each glyph featuring both a passive and an active state. The design process began with a range of ideas, ultimately focusing on how dried branches could be transformed into modular elements to form the 26 letters of the alphabet.
The character set is animated frame by frame in Procreate, with the passive state represented by seeds. Upon hover, the seeds grow into full letterforms. The final design removed flowers from the initial concept, instead incorporating branch textures and a three-dimensional quality to the forms. The growth pacing of each letter was carefully crafted during the prototyping process to enhance a more dynamic visual transition.
